About Us
The YCC's mission is to address the needs of younger chemists (35 and below) in the Society through programming and support activities and to serve as a voice to the society on behalf of younger chemists.

Here in Greater Houston, the local Section of the YCC was re-formed in 2007 after a hiatus of a few years. Since then, the goal has been to offer a supportive organisation for young Chemists. As well as Biochemists, Chemical/Petroleum Engineers and anyone else in a related discipline...both grad students and early-mid career professionals.

Over the past two years, our activities have been a blend of social, professional development as well as fun components which we believe add more value to us as young professionals.
