The Merit in Chemistry Awards are sponsored by ACS-GHS. At the Science & Engineering Fair of Houston (SEFH) held March 13 – 15, 2008 in the George R. Brown Convention Center, ACS-GHS members served as judges for these awards and selected the winning Science & Engineering Fair projects for the Senior, Junior, and Ninth Grade Divisions.
Two awards are made in each of the three divisions. The winners presented their projects and received their awards at the annual ACS-GHS High School Awards Banquet held May, 2012 at University of Houston - Hilton Hotel. Contact Dr. Simon Bott for more information at sbott@uh.edu
